About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just realized there is a whole world to visit, to explore and to taste.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious person, down to earth, fair, responsible and never boring. My life is blessed with people, old and new friends and many are now part of my life because of travelling. It's like that old saying, so little time and so much yet to see...

PHILOSOPHY

Destinations are about people, their families and their community. I want to know it all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After a bit of confusion making plans to surf, I had a lovely experience in Florence. And now I will be able to host in my own home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been challenged by the website but then again, I never follow directions and only do so when it becomes urgent. But I was most fortunate to be hosted by a sweet person who has set the tone for me. I am able to host surfers although I live 5-7 minutes from transit access, if arrangements are made, I can play tour guide.

Interests

It's all about the people engaging in life in their own communities. Where I go comes my camera and a good pair of walking shoes. I've currently discovered the volunteer program "Conversational English" and believe this will offer new horizons to explore. Learning new dance steps.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the smokey hot boogie blues, rock and roll, salsa and other Latino dancing styles. I read an array of books and just don't have time for movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met the most amazing, friendly people in Los Ayala, Mexico and have never felt so welcome in all my life. I've camped on top of a mountain close to my hometown, and I'm always awestruck when I discover new places and people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my photography skills, cooking, a few dance steps and it would be great to exchange these skills with some of your own.

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, Mexico, Spain, United States
