About Me
Life is constant movement. You never actually stop travelling, even when you are not aware of it. To me, it is also constant search. Emotions and rythms guide to new meanings as you permanently change with them.
I hear the call of the wild and I'm thinking about experiencing a more natural lifestyle in the future. Also, I am worried about the way we consume. Up to now, I simply try to select the products I eat and I'm starting practing a little bit of diy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I try to push my search for human contact and my desire to share as far as I can.
Interests
To me, art is the companion of the journey, as it lights up experience, that is to say both the relation with the world and the insight into oneself.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as cinema, I really like the French Nouvelle Vague. Godard's first films are among my favourite: "Pierrot le fou" and its traveling crime spree is maybe the best example I can give. This is also a sharp social critique describing how postmodern individual is a victim of decorative exhilaration and loses the ability to distinguish trivial issues from the essentiality of life and its poetry.
I love Linklater's "Waking Life", whose to title refers to Santayna's aphorism "sanity is a madness put to good uses; waking life is a dream controlled". Bergman's enquiry into human identity in "Persona" also continues to be of great inspiration to me.
As far as visual art, I love Schiele's way of representing distortion.
It's more difficult to sum up with music. I'd say what I'm mostly into is: Joy Division, Television, Talking Heads, Velvet Underground, the Smiths, Daughter, Sigur Ros, Cloud Nothings.
