Overview
About Me
Currently living in Madrid as an English language and conversation assistant for primary aged students. I love to get to know people in one on one settings and go to shows and museums or just grab a drink!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m want to see as much of Spain as I can before I leave in July!
Interests
My parents are both chefs, so I love trying new food! Since I grew up in Colorado I love the mountains and any kind of outdoor adventures, but also love to hang out in big cities. Sitting on a terrace with a beer on a sunny day (even better if it’s post-hike) is potentially my favorite day.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently rereading bell hook’s "All About Love" and Paulo Freire’s "Pedagogy of the Oppressed." Always looking for good fiction recommendations. The last fiction book I read and loved was Giovanini’s Room. I listen to a wideeee variety of music but always seem to come back to Kaytranada, the Internet, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All my traveling has been amazing. I lived and interned in Udaipur, India for 3 months, which was one of the best experiences of my life, traveled to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam and almost fell of the side of a cliff on a motorcycle, and moved to Madrid alone during the Pandemic without knowing anyone. I feel super fortunate that I’ve been able to travel in non-traditional ways
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m always open for language exchange!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food and drinks, always! Also love to share books when people want them:)
I’m always flexible and love to hang out with hosts but also totally understand if people are willing to share their space but don’t necessarily want to share activities
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Costa Rica, Thailand, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
India, Spain, United States
