About Me

I'm a calm girl who enjoys the little things.
I want to challenge and outgrow myself, in every aspect, that includes meeting new people (learn from them), trying out new sports/games (to overcome my clumsiness), simply throwing myself into a situation I normally wouldn't find myself in.

I'm studying Pharmacy and working part-time at a local store where I sew* headbands, beanies, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people during my travels. I hope to learn more about the culture from the country I'm visiting and not only see the typical tourist atttractions. The people make the country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined the CS community 2013, but never actually got to try out hosting/surfing until 2016.

I did go to a couple of CS meetings in Innsbruck back when I joined, but then I concentrated on school and other things and forgot about the CS community.
Now I hope to experience couchsurfing to it's fullest.

I'm living with two other people and the decision to host someone therefore isn't mine alone. But in summer of 2016 I travelled for the first time alone. I went to South of France and had the opportunity to stay with two nice hosts. I hope there will be many more and in the meantime I'd like to show you around in Innsbruck.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book Authors: Patrick Rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson, Kai Meyer, Kate Furnivall, Richelle Mead, John Green, Terry Pratchett, Eiichiro Oda, J. K. Rowling, etc

Movies: Wild Tales, 10 Things I Hate About You, Lucky Number Slevin, Drive, Snatch, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Samurai Champloo (does anime count?) ...
I'll watch almost everything beside Horror/Splatter movies and stuff like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*Night Swimming at Studland Bay (Dorset, UK)
This was such an unforgetable experience because the water glowed blue-ish at movement. Never would have expected that in the UK.
*Visiting an abandoned village somewhere in the North of Spain
*Swimming in the English Garden in Munich
Ok, sounds kinda random but I cherish that memory a lot. The English Garden is a big park in the middle of Munich. A river flows through it- at the entrance is actually a wave which is a common surf spot. But further down the river people just jump in to cool down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German if you'd like to.
*If you have a sewing machine I could teach you the basics.

I'd love to learn surfing. Simply because I love waves, the ocean in general, but especially the waves, I could watch them for hours and I will learn to surf them!

What I can share with you... a smile, a conversation, an opinion, a feeling, a boardgame, a drink, a meal, a dance... simply life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to share some interesting conversations and laughter. Maybe a beer or two.
I could also cook you some typical Tyrolean dish, for example Knödel.
