ABOUT ME

I am one that doesn't get to travel much, but dreams about traveling the world some day. I'm a fairly laid back person and I'm usually up for trying new things. For example, a friend of mine convinced me to go skydiving, something I thought I would never do because a have a small fear of heights. It was the coolest thing I have ever done. And yes I would do it again.
I love to learn new things, though I'm horrible at learning a new language, it just doesn't stick. I like helping where I can and hopefully learn from every experience.
Being with my family is one of the most important things in my life. We are very close and will hope to always remain that way, even if we end up at the opposite end of the world from each other.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any yet. This would be my first time. I wish I had a couch to lend, but at the moment I do not have one to spare.

Interests

being a beach bum, hiking, reading....and anything else that tickles my fancy.
I've recently signed up for my first marathon. Well its more of an obstacle course- Warrior Dash. I thought it would be fun to play in the mud!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's become a tradition of mine to go to Lollapalooza every year in Chicago and I always have a blast. I'm always looking for new music to listen too. I love to read, I usually have about 5 going at one time. I may not read all the time, but when I do I feel a sense of accomplishment.
