ABOUT ME

My name is Gretchen Rothermel, I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My boyfriend and I live on a beautiful piece of land right outside of the city. I work at a Mexican restaurant to pay the bills, but live for kickass music and traveling. My boyfriend is a musician, and I'm an artist so our lifestyles take us all sorts of places. Couchsurfing has been wonderful to us in our travels, so we open our door to wanderers alike to share this loving community that is always growing.

I live to learn through every moment, experience, thought, and interaction that presents itself to me. If you are traveling my way I'm always happy to open my door to a new perspective and story. If I'm traveling your way, I can't wait to see where I'm going to end up and what is going to be gained from that experience. It is the path of growing together as one life form, spreading peace, love, and sunshine in everyone and everywhere I can.

Interests

I'm an artist of homemade healing jewelry and clothing. I enjoy hula hooping, playing guitar, bellydance, aerial silks, bike riding, dancing my booty off at shows, and hanging with nature in whatever free time I have. I love taking care of our wonderful garden. I love to interact with fresh faces and energies, and live to spread sunlight wherever I go!
