ABOUT ME
In the 35 years I have walked this earth I have been a wide spectrum of things. I have been the child and the caregiver, been shallow and deep, been smart and have been stupid all too many times. I have been privileged and the way things are going I will soon live the life of a bum. Always the sinner, once a saint and a martyr. Experienced the family life and has been orphaned. I've loved completely, I've hated deeply. I've been a student (always will be) and I've been a teacher. I modelled before I was a waitress (reverse Hollywood syndrome). Lived in the East, resided on the West. Has lived on both sides of the coasts, and both large oceans. I've lived, Iâve died, obviously lived again. Iâve been the social butterfly, Iâve been the ostracized one and apparently lately the wallflower. Have abused and been abused. Been a dog person, been a cat person. One to stay up late for the sunrise, staked out countless sunsets. Lived with a Jewish grandma, grew up with Muslims and went to an all-girls Catholic school, pressured to be a Born-again by my bestfriend (don't even start with me on religion, I'm DONE with it). Been a smoker, can't stand it now. Been drunk for days consecutively, been sober for weeks at a time. Been the poison, been the cure. Been a prude, been impure. Always the honest compulsive liar. Never does her homework, writes final papers in a pub. Been a person of principle, and a hypocrite. Rode the very highs, scraped the lowest of lows. Campaigned for many causes to change the world, failing to realize that the greatest cause that I should've campaigned for was to change myself. I've thrown it all away, packed up shop and started all over again, time and time again. I've played many parts, walked many, many miles in someone else's shoes and yet I know that there is still yet hundreds of miles and many paths in front of me.
