ABOUT ME

I am originally from the UK. Lived in Florida for 8 years. In July '07 I couchsurfed up to Richmond, liked it so much I decided to move in Oct '07! Came back to Florida in June '10 :) Moved to the States when I was 16, went to college and now I'm out and about as a graphic designer.

I'm a firm believer that you can have fun anywhere. Love art, music, dancing, reading, wine, coffee, dressing up, videogames, volunteering, the cello, and of course traveling!

I would prefer to be scrubbing toilets with my best friend rather than at a fancy restaurant with someone I don't care for.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try and keep the activeness alive and growing within the Richmond community. Richmond has some amazing hosts/surfers.

In June 2010 I moved back to Florida. I was very active in the Richmond community, for a while I was a city ambassador. I slowed down and eventually stopped when I developed Lymphoma. Now back in full health, I'm looking forward to start again.

I have a car, so if I am available I can take you places, Pick you up from the airport/bus station, show you what south Florida has to offer.

You don't need blankets, depending on laundry day, you may need towels!

I want to travel more than I do, but I often pop up to NYC. It seems to be my weekend breather... how is NYC a breather? Well, it's completely distracting, fun and full of FANTASTIC CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment I am more hosting than surfing. Lack of time off with my current job will tend to do that.
