About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, grow and be a well-traveled individual

ABOUT ME

Well, to begin with, I am 24 years young and still have much to learn about life. I'm an easy going, open, calm, quiet person by nature with an abundance of patience and the drive to learn new things, though I am intolerant of racism, sexism, and people who are not...nice. I love learning about people, the arts, music, reading books, the practical sides of life (cooking, gardening, carpentry, fixing things yourself, the DIY lifestyle in short) and being outside in beautiful Tennessee with the mountains close-by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I appreciate a place to stay in my travels and I know others appreciate the same, so I would like to help provide a space for travelers stoppin' through.

Interests

Drawing/printmaking, books, coffee, insects, dreams (the kind you have during slumber), rats (the domesticated kind, though I'm sure the wild ones are nice, too), baking, gardening, climbing trees, bicycle maintenance and commuting, MUSIC! and noticing the little things in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen countless amazing things during bike rides, hikes and camping trips in the mountains of Tennessee, but I would have to say one night on a road trip I took to Savannah, Georgia, with three other great folks, we snuck onto the beach late at night and swam in the ocean with a strong current. All you could hear was the water, all you could smell was salt, all you could see was the never-ending expanse of ocean, sky, sand, and stars, without all the interference of resort lights and tourists. We all stood in the water for a while getting pummeled by the waves and wind, it was beautiful, to say the least.
