About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to create a better world with more humour and less war. a place where one is not judged by his wrongdoings but praised for his greatness. where one may live in harmony and peacefulness.

ABOUT ME

Have been on this planet for a few years now, almost 30 actually, and have spent much of that time in prefect happiness. i dont want to sound like a preacher and im not religious, however i do believe there is some higher being looking down upon us and manipulating our lives.I believe everyone on earth has a purpose however some people take longer to find it than others. I fell blessed to have been brought into the world in a safe society as some people dont have life as good as others. there is an argument that questions which race, which tribe, which company, which group has worked out life and how it should be lived. Does a high profile lawyer from New York have a better life, a better existence than a tribal warrior living the jungles of Bolivia? which existence would you prefer? either way, i think we all take so much of what we have for granted and loose value for ideas, objects, beliefs because they become second nature and almost a given. Didnt mean to get all philosophical there, just started typing and thats what came out.
About me...well...Im rather chilled, open to new experiences, i love many sports, too many to list here, and music is a grand part of my life. Im not a mixer of music, although i do possess around 2000 vinyl 33 inch records, which i believe sound better than any digital recordings.
Countries travelled and/or revelled in long term....new zealand, all of uk, france, italy, spain, holland, sweden, denmark, czech republic, austria, switzerland, portugal, germany, hungary, croatia, montenegro, greece, turkey, iceland, usa, mexico, guatemala, honduras, el salvador, belize, antigua, dominica, st barts, montserrat, netherlands antilles, malaysia, singapore, thailand, cambodia, indonesia, papua new guinea, philipines, egypt, jordan, israel,....and antarctica....which was a recent highlight....one for the memory books....

PHILOSOPHY

To treat your neighbor as you would expect to be treated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paddled 2200 kms down the second longest river in australia in a kayak taking 50 days. a journey of many highs and lows and positives and negatives.
Viewed a shitfonot (hebrew for flood) during a three day hike though the Negev desert in Israel.
Saw a whale give birth in the wild in the north west of Australia while working on a pearl farm.
Went for a swim in the Atlantic, at the geographical centre between Gibraltar, Spain, and Antigua, West Indies.
Swam with large schools of 80 - 100 kilogram tuna in the southern ocean.
Sat at the head of Sir Robert Scott's table at Scott's Hut in Cape Royds, Antarctica. This trip also included a swim in minus 1.6 degree water, and amazing experience.
