Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, connection, community, and authenticity are the best things about travel. Getting off the tourist track and seeing real places and people is why I'm on couchsurfing because there's no better way to do that.

Music, hiking, canoeing, food, yoga, photography, blogging, other writing, reading, you name it I'm up for it. I typically think I don't have enough time for all my hobbies, but it's better that than being boring.

Music - wide variety but anything live. Black Keys, Florence and the Machine, Kygo, Quinn XCII, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Vampire Weekend, Kendrick Lamar... could go on

Movies - Warrior, Shawshank Redemption, Mr. Nobody, Any travel documentary (180 Degrees South is my favorite)

Books - Song of Ice and Fire Series, Dan Brown Books, Political Thrillers
