I'm a creative, outgoing, down to earth guy. I like riding my bicycle, reading books, playing games and walking the city streets. I love photography, art, music and writing. I like to think I'm a pretty smart kid with a good head on his shoulders. Many times I have been called the leader of the group and always the man with the plan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to start off by hosting surfers in my studio apartment on the west edge of Lawrence, KS. Hopefully by spring I'll be in a financial situation where I can travel the east coast and use my experience as a host to help me do that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On July 4th 2010 I saw Silversun Pickups live at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. It was a life changing moment for me when I realized how one can let go entirely and have that interpersonal connection with an artist onstage. I remember making eye contact with Nikki and asking for water. Between songs she walked over to me and handed me a water bottle. It was a fantastic moment in my life.

In January of 2011 I flew to Orlando, FL to meet up with a pair of ladies that I met online. The thing is, they didn't know I was coming! I surprised them at their apartment while they were painting their living room. I spent the next three days sleeping on their floor, drinking beer, exploring the beaches and abandoned beach houses. It is, I could say, one of the best moments of my life.

In July of 2009 I flew to Orlando with my family to attend a convention. While I was there my father, brother and I attended the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International speed way. Feeling the cars fly by me at 200 mph and the ground shaking under my feet, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It may be NASCAR, but it was definitely a thrilling experience.
