About Me

Hello!

I'm all about exploring the outdoors, exchanging stories, and learning about the passions of others. Like all of us I have a passion for traveling and exploring the cultures and lives of others. It's my hope that we can share an experience together that will alter our future trajectory in a positive way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The people you meet make the experience. I want my trips to be more than sightseeing and working through a check list. That's where I turn to couch surfing to engage with those who know the location and culture more intimately.

"One life touches another life and potentially both are changed; one life touches another life and potentially the entire world is changed" -King Duncan

Music, Movies, and Books

Kurt Vonnegut is certainly my favorite author. I find myself reading a lot of European or American history otherwise.

The best book I've read recently is 'Prisoners of Geography' by Tim Marshall

Please send any book recommendations my way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise and set over Uluru.

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Traveling around with my Dad.

Too many great moments both big and small.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll send you postcards from my travels if you'd like.

I'm pretty into politics and can explain how our system works in the U.S. I've also been reading a lot lately and Would love to chat with you about what books that captivate you.

My friends and I recently also started a podcast where we talk about historical figures and review their biographies. You can check it out here! https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/silhouettes/id1439759591?mt=2
