I just LOVE to travel and snowboard, that's my mission at the moment.

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Grigorij, I work in IT and I'm not attached to any physical location with my work, therefore I have the opportunity to travel quite a bit. During winters I work sometimes as a snowboarding instructor, in fact it used to be my full time job and I used to spend 300+ days a year strapped in & on snow before. Not lately though, but I'd love to get back to it.
Last 1.5 years I spent in Vilnius, and it's been great - lots of new friends, new experiences. However it's time to move on.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a peaceful type of guy, although I love being independent and I value my private space and time. Although if I have a genuine connection with a person - I'm happy to see them anytime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't surfed or provided a couch yet. Although we used to have a huge apartment in Druskininkai, Lithuania - we have a snowdome there http://snowarena.lt/ and people would come and go all the time.

Interests

I like staying in one place longer than just few nights or a week, therefore I'm not really looking for a place to stay for free, but meeting locals, in my opinion, is the best part of any travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent a couple of seasons in Alps, and that's something I want to do over and over again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think this season I had more free snowboarding lessons (teaching friends) than paid ones. Teaching beginners is OK, however what I really love is teaching someone freestyle techniques and park riding.
