About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be better, smile brighter, think quicker and everyday discover better things and people :) admire both the real life and the underwater one

ABOUT ME

PLEASE READ IT BEFORE YOU SEND ME REQUESTS! WE ARE AWAY ALL JULY and August since we are going on our looooong trip to Thailand for few weeks where we will be diving and teaching English to some community center ... SORRY ...

Well, it seems that time goes much quickly than I thought it would be, anyway I love people, travelling, discovering the NEW and moreover just adore talking :) on the other hand I hate staying in hotels just because you are always a hotel room number and receptionist to talk to :( I am 43, an English teacher full of crazy dreams like hitchhiking around Georgia or travelling around States for 3-4months :)but now I am waiting for YOU :0 I fgorgot I LOVE CROATIA :) we have been there 10 times so far :) We have been diving for 5 years and discovering the coral reefs in Africa ! We love Asia too!
Travelling is our lifestyle for sure!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the day as if it is your last one ... This is what I gained after being sick 14 years ago :))
Create only positive thinking, blocking the negative ones, optimism and trust in people ( sometimes too much which gives me another lesson )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, if I have time I can offer basicaly everything what Polish hospitality is famous for, if I have time I can show people round or arrange some sightseeing, spending some nice evening within my family house or going out to visit my friends :)sometimes going for a weekend at the sea side, talking, playing games , staying in our garden and balcony.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Extremely positive so far :)
But there were some moments; two German girls came to my city just for a day to do some sightseeing, we prepared some lunch and we went around the city, we had a blast togehter I just wanted to show them POLAND in one day - 3 days later I got a beautiful letter or a poster with our photos - really beautiful idea!
I have also discovered the Hangout option which is super amazing possibility - once we had a meeting in our garden with about 15 people :D;

I sometimes travel with my mom - for her the idea of CS something amazing or even beyond imagination. She was a scout and raised me in the "archaic" CS way :D
But when a couchsurfer comes to us we visit her and she actively takes part in the CS community

Music, Movies, and Books

A mix of everything, depending on people and atmosphere but folk stuff is amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A sunset on the "desert" island in Croatia, Bungee Jumping in London, Delivering two kids :) Delicious sea food in France, knedlicki in Czech, grilled octopus in Croatia; diving in amazing canyons in Africa; Barcelona and Budapest at night ! Street food in Thailand, hitchhiking with my son and exploring the world as an endless adventure:) Teaching English to poor kids in Thailand in their local School - my life is one big trip :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well we had some bad experience with some people who didn't understand our hospitality - so remember:
- if people keep insisting you to try someting to drink or to eat better don't get offensive, just because polish people have the constant mission of forcing people to try different things whether it is food or drink :))

What I Can Share with Hosts

stories, cooking, exchange of experience connected with travelling ; normally I would like to be treated as a member of a family - doing everything what should be done, cooked or cleaned; Once when me and my son went to stay on a farm we prepared wine which two years later was drunk when we hosted our HOSTS :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland, United Kingdom
