About Me

Hey! I'm on that quest called twenties with an unjustified rush to define and find myself, so experience and new horizons is all I'm looking for. I'm passionate about arts and culture, and right now I'm exploring storytelling through the moving image.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to get to really know places and meet people. I guess sharing a home and life stories about a place, a city or a country is as rich as traveling gets. Also, now I can host people on my couch. Maybe that’s another way of traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music -so long I've only come across two genres I'd rather avoid-. right now I've been exploring eerie electronic music and african roots & soul. The most important thing to me is to feel it deep inside, like it's part of me. I feel the same about cinema, even if I move towards movies with great art direction, coming-of-age stories or sci-fi and mystery matters, the most important thing for me is sensibility and how I can relate to the film; I guess that's what good storytelling does, beyond technical aspects -even though they're usually crucial-. About books, I used to read fiction novels and travel literature, but It seems so long ago I've forgotten most of it; it's one of the big purposes I have these days, to remember how to enjoy reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in Galapagos is one of the most amazing things I've done in my life. Especially that day I got to see a Mola-mola in the distance, a school of hammerheads and an enormous devil ray. It's the closest I've been to dying of curiosity; it felt like the mysteries of the world where right in front of me, only I had to follow -which we did, by the way, and got in mild danger by doing so. But was well worth it-.

Countries I’ve Visited
