About Me
Hello everybody ! We are Auberi and Quentin (30 and 35 years old), french adventurers who are travelling in Asia ! We spent 2 months in Malaysia and 2 months in Indonesia and now we are heading to Vietnam. We did few volunteering work in the past and we met a lot of people talking about Couchsurfing and how fun and interesting is it ! Now we are very curious about doing it and we can wait to do our first Couchsurfing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After 3 months travelling in Malaisia and Indonesia, we would like to share and discover the Vietnamese culture. We think that Couchsurfing can help us to understand and share the real life of people. We are very curious and we like to share experiences and practicing English (Quentin speaks well and Auberi is a beginner).
Interests
Auberi and Quentin : we love to try new foods (even sometimes it's too spicy for us!), visit museums and temples, be interested in history and culture of the country, going out to have a drink or just staying at home to watch a movie. We like hiking and all kind of outdoors sports (we really like snorkelling!).
Auberi love climbing and windsurf. Sharing moments with her friends is very important for her and she really like to play board games. She also love to cook and learn how to make new dishes :)
Quentin love football (watching and playing), sharing moments with friends, cinema, music, learning about history and politics.
Music, Movies, and Books
Auberi : since i am young i really love Harry Potter books and movies. I read a lot and it's really difficult to chose a favorit one. I love latin or brasilian musik, like Flavia Coelho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, during our travel, we went in North Sumatra, to do a trek in the jungle and try to see some wilds animals. During 3 days, we could see a lot of monkeys (thomas leafs and long tales macaques), differents kinds of calaos and heard the jungle noise. The second day, we have met a very big orang outan, he saw us, looked at us and desapears in the jungle. Few hours later, we heard a low and deep cry. The guide explain us that it was the same orang outan. We felt like in a documentary movie. It was incredible !
