ABOUT ME

I'm very laid back....although I do like to rant about things. I used to have dreadlocks, so that should give you an idea of how laid back I am.My friends usually describe me as "direct, but very nice." I'm currently TRYING to learn Spanish, but I'm still not fluent. I'm up for trying lots of different things, especially if it involves food. I love my friends and I love my family. I try to appreciate everything they do for me. I get excited by little things such as pretty skies or the sound clementines make when you separate the sections. I love Spain. I don't like it when people interrupt me. And I can be a bit stubborn at times and I really like chilling at home on the couch, eating food, and watching tv. But I also like to go out, dance, drink, talk, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

hmmm....one of my theories in life is that we all need to travel and see other places/cultures/people/governments to learn more about yourself and others. I take a lot of my inspiration in daily life from my friends or people I meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Um, I haven't really done anything yet, but I plan on contributing as much as possible by giving as much information on my hometowns as possible, meeting with people to practice languages, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE message me if you want to practice English....especially if I can torture you with my attempt at Spanish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very little unfortunately. My roommate and I contacted one couchsurfer to meet for tapas while in Spain. It was basically an intercambio. It was great though because he taught us a lot about the culture and showed us good places to go. I haven't really had the money or time to travel since then.

Tae kwon do, all sorts of music (from Frank Sinatra to Rolling Stones to Manu Chao to electronic stuff), food, spanish books, hiking.

I already talked about music so I'll say that my favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, the Holiday, Star Wars, the Matrix, In her Shoes....uh thats all I can think of.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

On the island Mallorca, theres a small town called sollEr. This town isn't spectacular, BUT there is the most beautiful walk through foothills of mountains to another small town called Fornalutx. There are thousands of orange trees and narrow roads and houses nestled on mountains. Just gorgeous.
