About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet, learn, explore, enjoy

ABOUT ME

laid-back... analytical... inquisitive... open... independent... adventurous... thoughtful... optimistic... ambitious... friendly...introspective... honest.

PHILOSOPHY

yikes. am hardly profound enough for a personal philosophy. but if you'd prefer one, I'd probably go with something along the lines of...: strive, listen, question, learn, don't judge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always been inclined to offer whatever I have, including a place to stay, to any friendly soul in need... I've just been doing it formally through CS for the last 6 months. It's been a ton of fun, even if sometimes I feel like a hostel :)

Interests

traveling. music. cooking -- especially for other people, or learning new things to cook. basically any outdoor activity, especially in mountains or involving water. learning, constantly. reading. wine. plants (I love them, yet cannot for the life of me keep them alive....) understanding how things work, and why, including people.
and of course: my dog (and virtually all others for that matter)

Music, Movies, and Books

music is playing constantly in my apartment & my interests essentially know no boundaries -- with the exception of (sorry US southerners) country music (we're mostly talking the shit you'd see on CMA, which has actually caused me to physically cringe -- blugrass & johnny cash don't count).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hang-gliding in chamonix, france. we took off from a bluff right across from mt. blanc. it was spectacular.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Colombia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Chile, Denmark, Guatemala, United Kingdom, United States
