Originally here in Alaska as a Biologist, I've turned to shipwright work and fishing. I'm very interested in subsistence food harvest as a way of life, its why I live here, on a sailboat, in Petersburg, AK.

I host people, I surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is the only reason I can afford to travel in the USA. Its also the greatest way to experience any town, as so far my hosts have put me in touch with the local area many times superior to any lousy 4 star hotel! I.E. Couchsurfing Rocks!

Interests

Just about everything--- Wooden boats, photograpy, kayaking, hiking, biking, eating good food, having a cold beer, reading, listening to good music, Skinnydipping, drinking coffee, blacksmithing. Sometimes I like fishing, and one of these days, I´ll try hunting, but in the right spirit. Learning spanish these days, that's lots of fun. Good wine, good tacos, good conversations. Exchanging Smiles with strangers on the street...

After 5000 miles on a bike in latin america, and sailing the inside passage 5 times, I have a few stories. Life is about experience, isn't it?
