Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn and to live (not necessarily in that order)
ABOUT ME
I decided to leave the UK and travel in order to maintain the upward curvature in my path of intellectual, emotional and spiritual learning and growth that I thrived on at University. I (try to) keep a blog and am occasionally performing with my primary travel companion - my acoustic guitar. I like ice tea and dark chocolate and am as interested in meeting residents of the places I visit as I am in meeting tourists.
PHILOSOPHY
Every one of us is irrelevant and unimportant, and as much as we´d love to see ourselves from the lens of another eye, we cannot. So we should forget about where those other lenses are focused and concentrate on our own horizons; that is where we will find happiness, and that is where we will find our companions. If you have an opportunity to help, then do so; the rewards - even if only found in your conscience - are invariably well worth the work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a very good listener and love to have both deep and facetious conversation. If I had a place of my own I would definitely host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, although I have somehow ended up living on a boat in San Antonio´s bay in Ibiza for the last couple of months! Does CabinSurfing count??

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have performed as a paid musician in Ibiza a few times and ended up living on a boat..? And I jumped off a really high rock into the sea once..? Skiied Blackcomb mountain in BC, Canada..? Uhh.. hand-fertilised an entire herd of endangered buffalo in the Sub-Saharan Delta..? Ok may have lied on that last one, but I´d give it a go
Teach, Learn, Share
My guitar skills are an obvious one, I love to teach people. Also my knowledge of the English language is above average, being a graduate in it. I am a good chef, who loves and is very willing to cook. I have basic sailing knowledge and can tie common knots (clove hitch and bow-line). I have very good computer skills, having been exposed to them since I was young. I am a pretty good soccer player, and have lots of very random and imprecise yet fascinating nuggets of knowledge locked away somewhere...
