About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enjoy the south of france through languge, people, and travel.
ABOUT ME
I am a recent advertising and public relations graduate and am interested in doing communications work for environmental and public health related organizations. Before I begin my career, I am taking a year to live in the South of France to gain experience teaching and to also work on my French. I love to travel and enjoy meeting open-minded people.
As far as myself, I am very open-minded and it's because of this that I think I've met so many amazing people while traveling. I am a bit quiet sometimes with those I don't know at first, but once I get more familiar, I can generally talk ones ear off. I am passionate about the environment and helping people and feel very comfortable with those that share similar interests.
PHILOSOPHY
Find out what you believe in then live a life that shows it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently traveling but am looking forward to holding a couch surfing meet up in Cannes or Nice.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed 3 times and had one negative experience overall. (I guess that's just part of the program). The positive experiences that I have had through couch surfing have certainly more than made up for my one negative experience. I think this program is a beautiful thing and plan to at least meet couch surfers in the future for a drink once I am settled. I need a bit more time to trust being hosted again but hope to have the courage again in the near future.
Check testimonials first, this is the biggest lesson I have learned. I was a bit too idealistic with my first experiences and stayed with someone without many testimonials or contacts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite experiences was when I lived and worked on a Dutch organic farm in Vittel, France for a month. I met so many amazing people that shared similar ideals. We worked for 7-8 hours a day and shared every meal together which was incredible. I learned so much from the experience and made a few friends that will certainly stay with me a lifetime.
