I have been an ESL and Art teacher for the last 8 years. I left the US in 2016 and have lived in Mexico since then, mostly in Guadalajara. I will be visiting Mexico City soon to visit the Chinese Embassy there as I need to get a special Visa for work.

I enjoy art, music, food, local culture and of course, traveling!

I have been living in Guadalajara since 2016, though I first visited Mexico on a break from school back in 2008 when I first made this profile!
I hopped back on here recently because I need to get a work visa from the Chinese embassy in Mexico City and I don't know how long it will take for them to process and the last hostel I was in, my camera was stolen!

A little bit about me:

I am an English as a Foreign Language teacher, and have been teaching for the past 8 years. I have a BFA in Fine Arts, and I am originally from San Francisco, California. I teach students from around the world (though mostly in Poland at the moment) and I enjoy traveling of course, but also art, cooking and international food and playing board games (Dungeons and Dragons, Risk, Cards Against Humanity, etc...)

I like all kinds of music, but I am partial to indie, folk, classic rock, blues and jazz.

I really like 1980's action movies; Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie in my book!

Kite Runner, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and anything by Bukowski or Vonnegut are my bread and butter when it comes to books.
