Let's see... I am 33, solo backpacker, responsible adult wanting to travel and learn. I feel that the best way to learn something is hands on and the way to have a successful fulfilling life is by broadening your horizons. Couch surfing is definitely the way to do it! Living with locals, helping with day to day activities, giving something back while taking away only knowledge and memories. I have been in the service industry for 15 years, makeup artist for 6, jill of many trades. Interests

I have been a cosplayer for many years now, worked in haunted houses, go to conventions...met a lot of cool people! I'm usually so busy with work, traveling, yoga, or concerts I don't have time to watch tv but I try to keep up with a few popular shows like Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders and Outlander. I am always open and willing to try new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Artistic endeavors of any kind! I mostly read books centered around the supernatural or history. Horror and Sci first movies are by far my favorite but do like documentaries from time to time. Being a music major in high school and college I have a great appreciation for any kind of music and especially a live show!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking around Jamaica to learn from the rastafari was by far the most fulfilling experience so far. Living with them, foraging for coconuts and vegetables to make traditional Ital stew, meeting Rohan Marley and speaking about coffee, hanging out with other backpackers from Germany, Estonia, and Australia was so amazing. I lived Airbnb around the entire island and every host welcomed me back to stay longer..I now have an extended island family!

Always happy to share my knowledge as well as expand my own! I've been a bartender for 15 years... That's a lot of stories and new acquaintances lol. I love meeting new people and learning from them..their cultures, lifestyles, language, and personal stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have much more to offer than my time and stories but more than willing to share both! I can help with language practice, bartending, recipes, vampire and paranormal discussions, gardening, housework, pet care(I LOVE fur babies!!) . I am also an activist for cannabis reform in the states and love to share my knowledge about this amazing plant. Very respectful of each person's views so I try to stay away from political discussions as much as possible. I am always happy to help any way I can around the home I'm staying in.
