I'm Mike, an American living and working in Madrid. I moved here about 10 months ago, and decided recently to open up my couch and house to visitors from all over the world. I love to travel and experience new ideas, cultures, anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm opening up my flat to visitors, and I'll probably be using this service to travel as well.

My apartment is small (40 square meters) but I do have a nice fold out couch in the living room that even sleeps two (if you're a couple). I know that when I was traveling, I loved meeting locals and people that lived in the city instead of just people passing through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled a bit and enjoyed it a lot, but there are a lot more things to learn and see and do in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a native English speaker and I'm more than conversational in Spanish, but not quite fluent (yet).

I practice Muay Thai kickboxing 2 days per week and enjoy it tremendously. I would LOVE to learn how to play bass guitar.
