About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spreading the good word about love, travel, giving back, gratitude and making a difference!! I love giving as much as possible and believe in the power of collective consciousness!! Looking for other ambassadors of love in this beautiful world of ours =)

ABOUT ME

I talk about love incessantly! Laughter is hands down my favorite thing in the world, second would be dance, a close third would have to be hugs. I am learning how staying in one spot and cultivating roots and community can be as extraordinary of an experience as exploring new places every day. Other loves include: sweaty dance parties, cooking delicious meals, rhymes, drums, turntables, trains, graffiti, music therapy, beaches and mountains, yoga, mantras and meditation, festivals, colorful people, tea, tai chi, inspiring others and being inspired. Ah vida dulce....

PHILOSOPHY

This is an incredibly powerful time we are living in, the more we can come together to share and create communities, the more we will see just how amazing we are as human beings and what we are capable of! We are all one, and what you think and do create our reality. Our most powerful resources are music and laughter and love and jah blessings! For this I am itinually giving thanks and letting go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had been traveling for about 2 years, for work and for pleasure, and had the most incredible experiences through couchsurfing. I have made friends for life and seen places that I would have never seen otherwise. As a solo traveler much of the time, it allows me to connect with other travelers, find homes away from homes, see the real side of any place in which I am traveling. Now I'm getting settled in San Francisco (for now) and hoping to host and help pay it forward!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience has been completely different, but made each place more memorable. I love this community and how it brings out the best in people, their ability to share and find similarities in one another, no matter where we are from, and revel in the weirdness of our differences!

Interests

Goofing around, general silliness, being young at heart, spiritual connections and creative expression. Anything that involves nature, Gaia is my temple! Dance is my meditation. It is my life dream to study music therapy (singing bowls, mantras and tuning forks) and work with children who have had traumatic experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... sweet music.... salsa, reggae, dancehall, dub, punjab, bhangra, afrobeat, electro (funky thumping house with worldly vibes), hip hop, glitch hop jungle fusion, electo- gypsy (Beats Antique), salsa dancing, skank if you skanking, hip hop house bouncing, from jamtronica to concertos and all the way around the world. Tasty beats from my ears to my feets! Let's share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessed a massive goat sacrifice in a Kali temple in Calcutta as an appeasement on her birthday (goddess of destruction).... since then and for a little while I shall remain vegetarian =) I watched the first rays of light to touch Mexico rise from the Diosa de la Luna temple on Isla Mujeres, with dolphins jumping up from the sea. I have swam with sharks, manta rays and turtles all at the same time. But every day offers amazing experiences if one is just able to stop long enough to see them!

Teach, Learn, Share

In school I studied Ethnomusicology and Communication ... using music as a communicative tool... I know a few mantras that I learned in Rishikesh that I'd love to teach you. Vibration is a powerful tool that can change the way you see the world as well as the way the world sees you!

I have a huge amount of music that I highly recommend you explore =)

I want to learn organic farming, sustainable living, how to work on cars, practical things. I'm fascinated by the power of gem stones, spiritual rituals, ancient ways of living, learning from the past and finding connections for bettering our future.
