Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

sadly my first experience with couch surfing was an extremely negative one. i stayed with someone in London who turned out to be kind of a maniac and threw my friend and i out at 8 in the morning because we wouldn't have sex with him. we met a bunch of other couch surfers when we were out one night and when we wanted to also spend time with them he completely flipped out.

i am still optimistic because i have a lot of friends who have had wonderful experiences couch surfing, and i'm a really chill person who can deal well with most scenarios. i love meeting new people and i'm really open to having people stay with me. i've had a few people stay with me in the past, and most were really positive experiences. i love relaxed friendly people who are spontaneous and accepting.

Interests

TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL, being outside, camping, biking, kayaking, drawing, painting, dancing, listening to music, friends and lovers, cooking, reading, movies, perusing art galleries, concerts, nighttime adventures that no one else understands, sparkly things, flashing lights and spacey music, drifting away into unexpected dreamscapes, giants, touching, everything else that is beautiful in this world. i love everything right now... wow. (except tv, i still hate that.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I've trained in voice for a long time, started in jazz and musical theater, ended in opera. I'm learning to play the banjo! I love weird instruments like hang drums and tamboa. I play hand drums and i love to listen to obscure music that sets my soul on fire.

barcelona was beyond comprehension incredible. so many adventures! and ios in greece was the best party of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

i've been doing yoga for 6 years and would love to show others the amazing benefits it can have for your body and mind. I'm also very philosophical and spiritual and enjoy having mind expanding discussions and heated debates. as well as just chilling out and enjoying the silent beauty of a place.
