ABOUT ME

Y : Main préocupation, being and time. Practice through time: growing seeds in books, in a glass pyramide that shapes life and count time, making sculptures with food and life process, using a candy box or a castle tower as a camera obscura, printing signs on fields for plane users (you are here…), painting, photographing, vidéotaping, drawing, printing, writing, breathing, loving. Believing that art is really smart when ego-less. The glance of consciousness is the stronger one. There are no rules. It’s easier to be free, real and true if there is no will to be recognize.
I was a though young man. I hurted myself a lot. I'm glad I've survived. Art saved me. I've shown my work in Paris and through Europe in galleries, art centers and alternative places. I mainly work on photographs those last years. What I'm interrested in is to reveal aspect of life that can't be seen with our eyes. I truely think that time is the main subject of photography. So i work in time relation that is specific of photography, low ligthn long time exposure. This is for time. Being is the other aspect. I look at it trough several medium, still using time as a revelation, through the mouvement in video and in a different way in photography, through the grow power or dislocation of vegetal being. Life is so, impossible to catch.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Simply as a kind and fully respectuous host and visitor and by welcoming travellers who seek a true experience of the southern French pre-Alpes mountains

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I received Joseph who is now a real friend and neighbough. We exchange internet connection cause he don't have in his village and enjoy his bathroom in winter cause mine was in progress and not yet finished. We spend nice time together and enjoy ourselfs climbing around. We also share other experiences in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Georgia and Armenia. I had great moments in Berlin Madrid and bristol with my so kind host and really appreciate the couch surfing spirit full of gift and surprises!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Y : flying in an ULM to film a giant drawing I made in a field, some crazy skateboarding a few years ago now (lost a teeth and rock the floor a pair of time and many forbidden stupid and crazy things I won't tell here
