Hi travelers, welcome to Turkey in advance.. :) My name is Bora, a non smoker, a social drinker... I am a "local" in Istanbul as i raised and lived here since i was born except for almost two years of living in USA. I work as an airline pilot currently and am a travel maniac similar to all CSers here and I am looking for hosting travellers who has the "real" passion of travelling the world :)
Working in the aviation sector for the last years caused me to see people tripping around happily. Then i asked myself: "How can i be a part of this excitence other than transporting them?" The answer was shown in CS a few hours later... I discovered CS while surfing in the net however global pandemic delayed the idea around two years. Pandemic did not finish yet, nevertheless there should have been a start and that is why i am a newbie here.. Besides, the realty of learning "more" from foreigners compared to your own citizens creates a rarely found life experience by the help of this site..
I am the one who likes smiling and cheerful people and here to meet people from different parts of the world, learn about new ideas, see others' lives, values and cultures and i believe good things are happening to you because you did something good to other people. So, as an Istanbulian i am hoping to meet thoughtful, respectful, kind and adventurous people from all over the world to listen to their stories and maybe share mines if interested, to see their perspectives and spend quality time together for new friendships..
