To enjoy life is the standard, yet, honest answer... But more specifically I'm trying to expand my horizons both socially and professionally, knowing new places and meeting new people.

For starters, you can call me Scary, or Gus.

I'm from Blumenau but currently I'm living in Florianópolis because of my studies. I'm graduated in Physics and have a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (with Nanotechnology).

I like to talk about many things. Love a lot of things, mainly nerd stuff, but also dancing stuff and pub stuff.

I am pretty shy with unknown people, but after a little while, I can talk a lot and become really annoying, so be prepared!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Already hosted some couchsurfers and met others at mini-meetings in Florianopolis/SC/Brazil. Was inactive for a long time because my last apartment didn't have space for anyone else...

I'm more a "series" guy. My favorites are: Buffy, Angel and Firefly... Currently enjoying a lot of Netflix and more underground stuff like Critical Role.

I love to read every type of fiction like science, fantastic, historical, etc... Some of the best writers in my opinion: Douglas Adams, Christopher Moore, Bernard Cornwell.

I'm totally eclectic with music! (Seriously!) There is nothing I can't hear and enjoy!

- I can teach you how to dance some partner social dances, such as forro, samba, zouk, tango, etc....
- I can recommend/teach you how to play some board games like the modern ones or some more ancient like Go.
- I may try to help you with Math and Physics?
- I enjoy talking about anything, maybe I'll talk a lot of bs, but I enjoy sharing and discussing thoughts.

- I absolutely can't cook though... =/ Not a good skill in my utility belt.
