About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to be a Tour guide/ Translator

ABOUT ME

Wow! All about me... hmmm, I'm a pretty random, but fun guy. I love hanging out, hiking, playing pool, chess or whatever else is available to occupy my time. I don't like sitting around doing nothing. I have to be moving around all the time. I am a self taught translator between English and Hebrew. Anything else you wanna know about me just ask, I'm an open book.

PHILOSOPHY

Dance as if no one is watching, Love as though you've never been hurt, sing as if no one could hear you, and live as if each day is your last.

This is my philosophy for life. Live your life to the fullest in every aspect, follow your dreams, and you will always come out on top, even if you have to hit rock bottom first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, so currently I don't really think that i'm participating much other than opening my home to the possibility of having someone stay here or at least go get coffee with someone to see if i am comfortable with you staying here. Still in the introductory phases, but i'm sure it will get easier over time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience: When I moved to L.A. I decided i needed a week of relaxation before i came into the crazyness, so i took the full week to get from Northern CA (chico) to Southern CA (Los Angeles). A 9 hour drive took me a full week. I went from Chico to Sacramento where I slept in my truck, from Sacramento to San Fransisco where I met one of my friends friends and he let me crash at his place for 2 days, then went to Merced and stayed with another friend, then went to Modesto stayed in my car, then to Monterey and watched the sunset on the ocean drawing pictures, drove down the Big Sur coastline through the middle of the night, slept in my car when i got tired, hit up San Luis Abispbo (S.L.O. to the natives), slept in my car at a rest stop and then finished the trip down to Los Angeles to meet up with my sisters and concluded my trip.

For the summer of 2011 i went to israel and met a few couch surfers over there. I had a lot of fun!

Interests

I have a lot of interests, mostly art related in one way or another. I love drawing, painting, sculpting (ceramics), languages, being a mechanic, dancing, singing, and all sorts of random other stuff (like random information that no one should ever know).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of movies, thrillers, horrer, suspense, comedy, chick flicks, dark comedy, foreign films, indie films etc. I like them all. my favorite animation is "Waltz with Bashir" an Israeli animation fim. I also like japanese anime, i know I'm kind of a nerd sometimes.

Music is pretty much the same as movies, put it on and i'll sing to it if i know the words, hum to it if I don't and rock out to it no matter what!

Books, I have been reading a lot of books recently. mostly for school, but i generally like adventure books because they keep my interest more easily than most others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have finally begun to fully live my dream. I have come out of my shell of introvertedness (not a word, i know) and decided to be open about my life and meet people more readily. I am taking more risks and living my life to the fullest. I moved down to S.CA on a whim and it was an amazing experience. After 5 years of living there and finishing my first degree I moved to israel to fulfill my lifelong goal. I have been living here for 3 years now and have loved every moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always learning new and interesting things. I love to learn about different cultures, religions and lifestyles. I am very open minded and will have a conversation, discussion or debate about anything! This is the way I learn more than from books or schooling.

Countries I’ve Visited
