Hi! My name is Guadalupe. I’m from La Plata (Argentina) and I study Literature in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Currently, I’m living in Germany as an exchange student in the University of Erfurt.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Pienso que es una de las formas más reales de conocer una ciudad cuando uno tiene pocos días o cuando uno es turista. Que la ciudad se vuelva verdadera, no un museo.

I think it could be one of the best ways to really get to know a city, not visiting it as a museum but to walk trough it we someone that can show you the real stuff.

Interesses

Definitivamente la literatura y el cine. Disfruto mucho de una charla intercambiando gustos y recomendaciones. También los viajes y las experiencias que construimos.

Literature, of course. I really enjoy long chats sharing opinions about books and I love when people introduce me to books otherwise i'd never learn about. And trips, travels... we grow from them.

Es difícil definir una lista de libros o películas preferidas... siempre queda algo afuera. Entre lxs autores que más me marcaron podría decir: Julio Cortázar, Charles Bukowski, Virginia Woolf, Manuel Puig, Mempo Giardinelli, Juan Gelman, Bertol Brecht, Max Aub.
De todas las películas que podría nombrar, voy a elegir una: El padrino.

Creo que mudarme a Alemania (aunque sea por un tiempo) fue una de las cosas más grandes que hice y que requirió todo mi coraje.

For some people maybe moving to Germany could be hardly "amazing" but it was for me. It took all my courage and strength and I'm so glad I finally did it.

No puedo prometerles mostrarle mi ciudad actual (Erfurt) como una nativa porque no la conozco lo suficiente, pero podemos salir a conocerla y descubrirla juntos.

I can't promise you to be your tourist guide in Erfurt because I don't know the city enough for that. But we can discover it together :)
