Gosh, well, since you asked...

Originally a native of the American West, I left my heart there and packed up to come to South East Asia last summer in part to escape the hard times of recession. I'm not especially fond of travel, but I do enjoy marinating in foreign cities for a while. I'm currently working in Hanoi as a private tutor.

PHILOSOPHY

The business of filling a life is somewhat arbitrary, so I'm not as concerned with what I'm doing as who I'm with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch surfing profile is new, but my roots are deep. Since moving to Hanoi, Vietnam last summer, my house has been host to a fair number of travelers. I haven't reaped the benefits of any of their recommendations, but I could assume they would lend a favorable review since all of my hosting experiences have been quite positive.
