ABOUT ME
Well hello!
I've been a verified member of Couchsurfing for many years now but never been an active member.
I live in Reykjavik at the moment and have just come home from an almost year long trip that was originally only supposed to last 3-months.
I'm pretty easy going I guess, disorganized though!
I change my mind very often about where I want to be and where I want to go so I try to just go with the flow and see where things lead me.
And I'm pretty much always late! (Sorry!)
I still have a few years left of travel in me and have to go on at least one more long-term travel before I settle down to do something more specific with my life.
I will always continue traveling in one way or another but at some point I want to slow down a bit.
I've moved around quite a lot since I was about 10 and haven't really stayed in the same place for more than 2 years at a time since.
I love to see people smile!
And I love to laugh and smile myself :)
PHILOSOPHY
Life is all about experiences. Good ones or bad ones. Everything we do, say, see, every interaction, every thought is an experience. We choose what we do with them and how we let them bring us forward in life.
See what happens and take in what's around you. Look up and open your eyes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to become active. I love to travel and find myself a bit all over the place a lot of the time. While I'm here I can meet up and try to show you around somewhat and when anywhere else in the world I would love to see other Couchsurfers and share experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met a lot of people who are very active on Couchsurfing and also been hosted in Holland through a friends profile. I've had this account for many years but never set it up. Never really had to use it. I've hosted many people through friends, festivals, organizations but again never directly through couchsurfing.
I've also lived with a few Couchsurfers.
Interests
I always find this part difficult.
Well I guess like everyone here I love to travel. I love to get to know different cultures and grow my understanding of life.
I like kickboxing (haven't done much of it so far but enjoy it a lot!)
I love everything to do with theatre and films as well.
I love to see beautiful places, meet amazing people.
I love music -just to add a typical one in there.´
I love to hitchhike!
I love
I love

I love to live.
I love to smile.
I love too many things at the moment. I have a lot of interests but it's hard to sum them all up onto a white screen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunset from the top of the monkey temple in Hampi, India.
The smiling crescent moon from the West coast of Africa.
A specific shooting star from the top of a sand dune in the Mauritanian Sahara.
A whole bunch of amazing animals.
Danced with so many different people in different parts of the world to a lot of different styles of music.
Kissed an elephant and a crocodile.
A two and a half day trip driving through the desert almost out of petrol.
Oh, and I hitched a ride with an airplane to Iceland.
