COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have traveled all over Asia using couchsurfing and now it is my preferred way to travel! Met incredible people and saw things that i wouldn't have seen if it weren't for those great people. i have also hosted, only a few times, but it was great. i hope to do it more often when i'm not traveling myself.

films everything from Almodovar, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Jean-Luc Godard, Miranda July, Zhang Yimou and Zhang Ke Jia, Chen Kaige etc, etc... i like the foreign films but also the american comedies and thrillers.
books by zadie smith, charles bukowski, aldous huxley, albert camus, sylvia plath and many more...
music as eclectic as the world is round (but a special affinity for hip hop, tropicalia, electronic and female vocalists, oh and Beyonce!)

The Great Wall of China. Corsican gorges and alpine lakes. the Mississippi river swell to the brim of its banks.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

i like to pack and unpack things and i think i can do it at a professional level. if there were some kind of competition for (un)packing in a very organized manner i think i could win... i also like making lists.

i make a mean marinara sauce and i can organize a pantry in a snap!
