Overview
About Me
I try to live as minimalistic as possible, that is to do with less material things and to conserve resources. That's why I cycle all year, avoid air travel and use existing things as long as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies off the mainstream, books by T.C. Boyle, John Irving, Heinz Strunk. In terms of music I like to hear Stan Getz, but also funk or classical. I like Calexico, Get Well Soon, Lambchop and music from my youth time (80s).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best experience was the father's year with my son Jakob between the ages of 1 and 2 years. Accompanying a child growing up around the clock for one year was the most beautiful and the hardest thing I've ever experienced. This unconditional and unbiased love for a child can probably be compared to nothing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from a counter invitation to my home, I can offer my services in the household (vacuuming, etc.). Although I'm not a gifted cook, I could cook simple dishes if you want. I'm not so bad at computer things, maybe I can help.
Countries I’ve Visited
Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, United States
