ABOUT ME

Man of many experiences, sometimes I have the feeling that I lived a lot of different lives (psychonaut at very early age, actor and dancer living in a commune with other artists, husband and loving father in a semi-traditional family, gay clubber enjoying underground subculture, high-school teacher with a mission, bartender of an elegant winebar), like different theater characters, even if they were all real in the moment they happened. Truth and spontaneity mean a lot to me. Freedom too.
I consider myself caring, respectful, organized, open minded, curious, reflective, dynamic, friendly and cultivated - just to name a few. I can talk with you for hours but I appreciate silence as much.

Within the limits of my values and morality, I like trying everything in order to decide later if it is something to keep or to reject. No experience, no knowledge.

Obviously my house. And (possibly) my time.

As a gay man I can give you a lot of insider tips about the "queer scene" in city, if you're interested.

SOME IMPORTANT ADVICES FOR MY FUTURE GUESTS:

1) I am not asking for a "password" hidden in my text because I find it a bit childish. However a bit of effort explaining why you decide to write to me is absolutely necessary. There are plenty of hosts arond (especially in Berlin) so a short explanation WHY YOU CHOOSE TO WRITE TO ME is what I need to start a connection.
That means that even if I try to answer to everyone, you can also get a simply "No" if I have the feeling that I belong to a long list of people, whom you sent your template request for a free room (changing the name at the beginning of the message is CERTAINLY not enough).
That said, I prefer to host gay (or bi) men because it is easier to connect and to share common points of view.

2) Moreover, as I (possibly) like to plan, when you contact me do it with a reasonable advance so that we can set everything properly. That means that I cannot guarantee a 100% satisfaction for a last minute request!

3) If I accept you, your confirmation is also very important and so is exchanging a couple of messages in order to make the due arrangements. If you send me a message asking me if I am at home an hour before you intend to arrive I feel like a hotel receptionist and it's not a nice feeling.

That said, spontaneity and gut feelings have always a big part in the process! ;-)
