About Me

CURRENT MISSION

'Travelling around the world 'til the soles of my shoes will be skinny as pancakes and the soul of my body thick as my grandma Sunday lasagna'

ABOUT ME

At the last year of degree in protection of human rights, I'm a cheerful and grinning guy who loves travelling, meeting people and sharing ideas, dreams and smiles. Creative, imaginative, open-minded, I am deeply eager to discover new places, new souls and live new experiences as . At the moment I'm living with few friends in a spot at the hearth of San Lorenzo, one of the most messy and artistic neighborhood in Rome. Hope see you soon, whoever you are. Love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to share everything with couch-surfers: not just the sofa but also new experiences, meals together, drinks and talks

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to years spent travelling around the world I gained a long experience of couch-surfing, even though most of them outside the couchsurfing.com 'channel'. I have hosted loads of friends in Rome, notably from Spain, Australia and France, and I've been hosted at their homes. The best one has been in Summer 2011 when 3 friends from Madrid and 2 from Sydney came at my place at the same time. We spent an amazing week all together and after that my home looked like a proper squat. Loved that!

Interests

Playing soccer barefoot at the beach, staying in the middle of the mess at concerts, reading Hemingway's novels and Ungaretti's poems, watching Walt Disney's cartoons and Italian old movies, having never-ending beers at Celestino, finding cool graffiti in the suburbs of the cities and listen to gipsy bands at Villa Ada

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Summer 2012 I have been as an humanitarian worker for AMKA Onlus in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo (Southern Africa). I will never forget the first day with the 40 children of Kanyaka, little village close to Lubumbashi, and the smile on their faces when I pull out of the bag a brand new soccer ball. We played for the all day without breaks. The game ended up with huge hug all together and their mothers offering us typical food such as lenga-lenga and manioca. It has been the best meal of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do you know how to dance Gioca Jouè? Or what are the 'arrosticinis'? Or how to prepare a tiramisù? Let's meet up and I will teach you!

ps joking, I don't know how to prepare a proper tiramisù but we can learn how to do it together
