Overview
About Me
I am fluent in most languages that you can only use in South Africa :) I need to step up my game.
Vibrant, South African, been a nomad for sometime now
Currently an English teacher in South Korea and this has given me an amazing opportunity to travel and see part of the world on my breaks.
I'd like to believe I am quite an energetic person...I am always down for a dance challenge
I am passionate about a lot of things...life in general!
Currently though whats occupying my mind is travel and teaching...and food
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found out about couchsurfing through a friend.
I joined up as I love meeting new people when I travel and this seems like an awesome platform to do so.
I like to meet locals who don't mind sharing their time and also fellow travelers who want to experience their new surroundings with new and different people
Interests
I love, love hiking...although I don't do it so often, so maybe I just like it a lot.
I am very passionate about traveling and meeting different people from around the world.
I am interested in learning about people and their cultures. I find it really interesting to find what what people can teach me about their families and their countries.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a recent fan of Haruki Murakami...although his books take so long for me to read...I thoroughly enjoy his writing.
Norwegian Wood; The Wind-up Bird Chronicles; South of the Border, West of the Sun...some of my favorite
Unfortunately, I am not big into movies
I listen to such a vast amount of music, that I do not think I could ever, in my life be able to say what my favorite music is...I can and would jam to anything
Beyonce though :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It would be having taken the semester break I had off when I was 19 in 2008 and went over to the United States on an F-2 visa.
I lived in New York for 3 to four months, working at hostels and finding jobs off Craig list.
It was one of the bravest things I had done at that age. In retrospect, its not that amazing but looking back it's one momentary time in my life I realised I loved traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am all about learning and sharing experiences.
We all have stories, lessons and experiences waiting to be shared with the next person who may influence your life whether big or small.
