About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make Hitchhiking GREAT again!!!

The world is just too big to stay at the same place!
Currently with a project.
I know there are more good people than bad people in the world, so through Hitchhiking and couchsurfing I can find them, who are willing to help strangers.
Together with my sister we try to put this awesome stories and motivate people to seek their dreams (utopic right?)
well here it is the result www.facebook.com/campodegelo

ABOUT ME

I wanna know all the cultures, people, costumes, local food and entertainment.
Travel is more than a hobby, is a style.
So far I have passed through 65 countries.
I was born in Brazil, but I've already lived in USA, India, South Korea, Germany, and Thailand.
So I always like to share my experience and learn new things.

Also, I need to fill the world map tattoo I have on my back with the missing countries

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we should enjoy the life peacefully, always helping each other when possible, and above all, we must be happy and find happiness for all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already stayed with some awesome people in Italy, Ireland, Norway, USA, India and Australia, besides that the events organized by the couchsurfing community is always a great way to meet new people around the globe.
Hosted people in India and Germany as well.
Stayed with awesome people (now friends) in Switzerland, France and Spain.
Always awesome to share different experiences.

Interests

Besides travelling, music and reading are my hobbies.
Knowing new places and new people is wornderful.
I love taking pictures. Here you can find some of them: https://www.flickr.com/photos/eisfeld/

And now I have a Facebook page too https://www.facebook.com/campodegelo
Hanging out with good people is always appreciated.
Currently I just bought one guitar and I will focus to make it works. So far it is just decoration in my room

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock n' roll, jazz, blues, funky, MPB (brazilian popular music), Bossa Nova and good music in general.
In all places that I pass I try to find a local book with some interesting story.

I've already been to concerts of Rolling Stones (twice), Roger Waters (twice), B.B. King, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down (twice), QOSTA (three times), Foo Fighters (even though I think they are overrated), Mars Volta, Rod Stewart, Arctic Monkeys, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Elza Soares, Lenine, Criolo, Fat Freddy's Drop (twice), Groundation, Katchafire, Oasis (twice), O Rappa, Pearl Jam (twice), Radiohead, Santana, Yes.

Ow, I think I mentioned the most important ones but I am sure there are more I forgot

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living during one year in India make me think better about the world, how you can find happiness in the small things and acts.

Hitchhiked from Vietnam, passing through Cambodia, Thailand, to Myanmar, during two months, having the best experience with local people.
and also through Europe, hitchhiking from Berlin to Oviedo (north of Spain) during August 2017.

Hitchhiked from Berlin almost to China, but I was stupid enough and didn't apply for the visa in my home country. It was good indeed, because I hitchhiked then to Iran

visited 65 countries and looking forward to increasing this number

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and Brazilian culture, and probably bring some small things from Brazil to you. Depends if they are still available.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some funny stories and good sense of humour. Respect is a driver of life.
I would share some chocolates and food from Brazil, but unfortunately they are over right now :P
