Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use CS to travel differently and to meet people I would never meet otherwise. This website is an awesome tool to make quickly news friend all around the world.
I strive to host as much people as I can but I like to have time to discuss.

I behave as I would like people do for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spoke with some czech people when I went to Praha thanks to this great website.
Then I met lot of Moroccans thank to the website when travelling in Morocco during 3 weeks in summer 2013.
Also many people very nice in Senegal last summer.

I got in contact with some nice people living in Cambodia as well.
I started to welcome people when I can and really enjoyed it !
I did host in Iceland and in Cambodia.

Interests

Practicing sport is a big part of mlife: playing Volley ball, sailing, biking, rock climbing, skiing, ... I have been teaching Ski in winter and windsurf during the summer the last few years. In general, I'm always happy to initiate people to the sports I like.

And I like cycling or running in most of places where I go, it's the best way to see an area!
I'm pationnate about sustainable development (professionnaly), social entrepreneurship, and outdoors activities (as a hobby), ...
Therefor I'm studying water and energy engineering as I want to have an objective opinion about energie issues. That's why I choosed to specialize in hydraulic engineering.

In a general manner, it doesn't matter where you come from and what do you like, it's always great to discuss with people who have a different background. Just be open-minded and easy-going, and share what you like!

Teach, Learn, Share

I lappreciated to talk with people from other countries and/or who have experience of travel, who can share interesting point of view about something.

During a roadtrip, I'm glat to meet people who want to discuss or showing around city, and sharing their life to get an glimpse of the local life.
I like having the point of view about france from differents countries...

But also sometimes it is cool to meet some frenchies who have the same interest in travelling!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share the french culture (funny fact, cooking, pictures, advices for future travels,..) and my experience of travelling.

I kind of like the idea to get something back to my host (gift, prepare a french dish, or surprise...)
