I am 22 years old and I love to experience new things that broaden my horizon! I am a thrill-seeker that loves all kinds of sports so I am in for many things! I have a bachelor in Global Sustainability Science which means sustainability is in my veins haha.

Juliët: I am 20 years old and traveling is something I was born doing. I have lived on 4 continents and moved about every 4 years to a new country! I gotta say I never got sick of it and I plan on traveling my whole life to experience new cultures, experience exciting new things and of course try out all yummy food that this world has to offer haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I (or should I say 'we'?) am on Couchsurfing because I would like to meet local people that can show an authentic view of their country. From July to November 2019, my girlfriend Juliët and I are going to travel from Panama to Mexico and would love to meet people that can give us this experience. On Couchsurfing we hope to find people that can show us how life in their country actually is, away from all the tourist places (although we also want to visit some of those haha). Whether this is by meeting up for a tour through the city, going out together to local bars or having good conversations during dinner; we hope to find it here!

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music, we don't really have a specific genre of music that we like (everything goes as long as its not some intense hard core metal haha). We just play whatever complements our mood at that given moment. We can however always listen to Coldplay and Queen.

Best movies (well this is difficult because we both like different genres...) but these are some movies we both really liked: Brain on Fire, Pursuit of Happyness and The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.
Juliët: love a good romcom such as Love Actually or The Proposal.
Guido: I am into thriller, drama, crime movies and series, such as Designated Survivor, Narcos, Suits and 6 Days.

For books we both love books about travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Guido:
As someone looking for adventure, the most amazing thing I have done is doing over 40 solos skydives!

Juliët:
The most amazing thing I've done is going bungee jumping over the ocean!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach all kind of things about sustainability if you are interested in that! Or if you would like to learn some Dutch, we can help you with that!
We are interested in learning about the local culture and as we both love food, we would love to learn how to cook local dishes.
