Hello! 👋 I'm Guido, the founder of New in Milan, a community dedicated to international people in Milan.

I was born in Catania and raised in Rome, but my passion for exploration led me to leave Italy and work abroad. My first stop was Belgium, followed by Germany, and eventually I found my way back to Italy. ✈️

During my travels, I became an avid user of CS and embarked on numerous adventures. Meeting new friends from all corners of the globe has been an incredible experience that has shaped my perspective on life. 🌍 Making connections and sharing cultures is something I truly cherish.

Recently, I haven't been as active on CS, but I'm eager to catch up and reconnect with the community that has brought so much joy to my life. 🙏🏼 I'm excited to hear about the incredible experiences and stories that others have to share.

Aside from my passion for CS, my hobbies bring me immense happiness. I have a love for photography, capturing the beauty of the places I visit. Hiking ⛰️ allows me to explore nature and embrace its tranquility, while weekend trips keep my adventurous spirit alive. In my downtime, I enjoy playing with my adorable kitty😽, engaging in energetic padel tennis 🎾 matches, and diving into captivating books📚 that transport me to different worlds. 😄

In my journey through life, I've had the wonderful opportunity to meet people from all corners of the world, especially during my time in Rome. It became a personal tradition of sorts – not only showing international visitors around this beautiful city but also engaging in language exchanges to enhance my proficiency in foreign languages. 🌍🗣️

Hosting individuals in Rome was not just about sharing the splendors of the Eternal City but also creating cultural bridges. Likewise, during my backpacking interrail trip in the summer of '14, I had the privilege of being hosted by others three times. These experiences were not only enriching but also incredibly heartwarming. 🏠❤️

I firmly believe that this is a powerful tool for connecting with amazing people from diverse backgrounds. Travel and language exchange open doors to understanding and forging bonds that transcend borders. It's a reminder that the world is full of remarkable individuals, and every encounter is an opportunity for mutual growth and enrichment. 🌍🤝
