About Me

I am very new to couch surfing, I actually haven't done it at all yet! Not hosted or been hosted...I value honesty so you got start somewhere! I had been hesitant about the idea but recently came across someone in my personal life who uses the site, and he said it is pretty safe so I'm decided to give it a whirl! Again on the honesty part I am gay, if you cant deal with that then we're probably not gonna be a good match! But I respect your different opinion and wish you the best in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I value and appreciate human beings, I think our world needs more things like this where we take care of each other and don't obccess about things like money because truth be told, while it is necessary, it shouldn't be what one's life is all about.

Interests

I like reading a lot, I am an movie addict I like chatting with different people. I don't travel as much as I should, but my life happened in a way that allowed me to live in three different countries for long periods of time. This opportunity has given me a greater sampling than most people get of what us human beings are like, and how silly societal norms are once you have the chance to examine them. People are so different and we are all the same at the same time. Its amazing, I'm thankful for being alive with a fully functional body and mind...I try not to take that for granted because one day those things will be gone! I read a lot of holistic stuff and listen to endless hours of dharma talks. Anyway...clearly I love to talk, and listen..a lot ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Choices...not my forte. The plurality of life makes making choices something I always prefer to postpone or leave it to somebody else...I can enjoy someone else's choice...but here is my best attempt:
Book: Anger by Thich Nacht Hahn
Movies: I really likes Wes Anderson..so I'm gonna go with The grand Hotel Budapest, it was pretty perfect.
Music: I'm not a big music connoisseur but I love all traditional old school Bossa Nova.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an exchange student when I was 16 years old

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I covered this on the next field...but here is some more...I'm big into fitness, and have been for monay years. I am especiall adept at teaching how to lift weights properly at a gym, so if that's your thing we can squeeze a work out during your or mine vacation time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak 4 languages and I am happy to share little basic sentences that may come in handy for their travels, I cook a killer Brazilian moqueca if you like seafood dishes.
I can sometimes help a person with their development and growth, If and only If my advice is requested, and it also depends on how open and ready for the growth that person is. Growth isn't easy, it is hard and unpleasant, but you get better after you're done. That being said I'm not sure the best use of the little time we may have is on that...maybe if a good enduring relationship develops that's more of a good idea then! ;)
