Overview
About Me
Fourth year medical student from São Paulo. I'm currently taking a gap year and interning at the World Federation for Medical Education - and using this amazing opportunity to make some trips around Europe. I am very open-minded and have very varied tastes regarding music, arts and food. People and their culture are my two first passions in life, and that, of course, is the main reason why I am on CS. By the way, that gives out what my third greatest passion in life is: foreign languages; and that because the more of them you know, the more the world unfolds into even more to be seen and discovered.
Everyday is a good day to meet someone new and learn something from him.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book of all times is certainly "Grande Sertão: Veredas" (The Devil to pay in the Backlands), by João Guimarães Rosa. I could talk about how wonderful and unique it is for hours, so start a conversation with me about it at your own risk. About music, I'd say that my favourite band is The Smiths - I was looking for a job and then I found a job, but heaven knows I'm miserable now!
"The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless.”
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a one-year leave from medical school and came to Europe to work at hostels in exchange for the accommodation. A very crazy and yet one of the best decisions I've ever taken.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some words in the languages I speak and also some interesting aspects of my culture. It's always a pleasure for me to share a bit of my personal story and to listen to peoples' ones as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A very attentive pair of ears to everything they want to share with me, my own personal experiences, some caipirinha (a famous Brazilian cocktail) and a very extrovert and uplifting company to go partying with.
