Overview
About Me
Brazilian, 29 y, journalist by formation, living in Toronto since 2021 and having an amazing Canadian journey so far. I'm a PhD candidate in Science & Technology Studies (a mouthful, I know! But I swear it's an interesting field) and spend most of my days from public library to public library reading, typing, working, and procrastinating. I absolutely love hiking. If that's your hobby too, you can count on me for taking you on some of the best hiking/trail spots here in TO. In my spare time I like playing boardgames, playing soccer or basketball, or just going out there to discover a new spot in town with my friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are not islands. Meeting people and making friends, without concerns for profit, image, or career, is one of the best things we can have on this messed up planet. That is what Couchsurfing is all about and that is why I'm here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a week at Chapada Diamantina, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Some of the memories (oh!) keep coming back every day. I still can't believe what I've seen. Trust me, if you ever go to Brazil forget about Rio or Copacabana. Hop on a plane to the state of Bahia and visit the beauty that CHAPADA DIAMANTINA has to offer you!
