Olá! My name is Guilherme Nolasco, but you can call me Nolasco, Nolas, Nono, what suits you better haha! I'm an ambitious animation and illustration student from Brazil (hopefully one day you will see my name in the credits of a pixar or dreamwork film haha)! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest I never heard about Couchsurfing back home in Brazil, so the fist time that I got in touch with it was here and I must say, it's amazing! Since I'll be travelling by myself, I hope that I'll be using Couchsurfing a lot, not only because is the cheapest option, but to meet new people and share stories! For the last 6 months I've been living and studying in Copenhagen, Denmark. Now is almost time to go back home, so since is so hard and expensive to come to Europe, I want to take full advantage of my time here and explore as much as possible! I've travelled a bit during the last months but now I'll be doing a backpacking trip passing through Netherlands, England, France and Spain!

Interests

-As a animation student, my passion to drawing and cinema is obvious! As a child I was obsessed with early disney movies (Lion king, Tarzan, Hercules), Toy Story made me fascinated with animation and it was How to Train Your Dragon that made me decide to be an animator!
-Second to that comes music and eletric guitar, which I've been playing for the last 4 years. I love everything with a guitar solo, so I'm always listening to rock, blues, jazz and metal. But I love all kinds of genre of music
-In the last years I discovered the importance of travelling, now I am addicted to it haha. I'm still quite new at it and have many places to visit but I'm willing to go on that journey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got the best grade and passed in first place on the exam to get in the University and course that I wanted back home, I was surprised but happy and proud of myself!

Exchange for one month in Canada and now 6 months in Copenhagen, Denmark
