About Me

Fascinated by human life experience and diversity. Love talking about anything (I mean, ANYthing, from philosophy to complaints about boring workmates), chilling out with nice people, having some good drinks, partying all night long, laughing at bad jokes, listening to good music, and exploring places. Are there more pleasant things in life? I don't think so :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS can be a good tool for meeting new people and to share culture. Being a fan of the use of technology to tighten human ties, I'm looking forward specially to meet new people and to share good experiences with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pop, rock, R&B, opera, classic music, Brazilian pop, Brazilian funk, axé, and every other style that give me chills or make me feel like dancing. Specially curious with regional styles.
Love me some suspense, mystery, thriller, action, science fiction, and drama. It's been rare to be amused by a comedy lately. Love comedy series, tho! Hannibal, The Walking Dead, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and RuPaul's Drag Race are the latest series I've followed (and still am).
I grew up in the boom of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series, so they must be in my list of favorite movies and books. My habit of reading has decreased in the past years to open space for academic articles, but I'm trying to rebuild it. Currently reading about Latin America history. Realist and Existentialist authors are my favorite literary ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In special, travelling to Buenos Aires, Salvador, and Rio de Janeiro, for sure. Gorgeous days (and landscapes). Have known some pretty special people through my lifetime as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

Who knows? Each person is a pool of potentially new knowledge... I could teach a bit of Portuguese, programming, Brazil culture, maybe risk some cooking or dance moves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good laughs, good conversation, some experiences and some alcohol. Good memorables moments, I hope.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Germany
