Hello! My name is Guilherme R. Pereira, I am Brazilian, born and raised in the vibrant city of São Paulo. I am a psychologist and recently completed my master's degree in social psychology here in Russia, where I currently live.

My Interests

- Dogs: I grew up as an only child, but I was always surrounded by dogs. Currently, I have two loyal companions, Lucke and Anakin (yes, I am a big Star Wars fan).
- Nerd Culture: Besides Star Wars, I am passionate about The Lord of the Rings, to the point of having a tattoo dedicated to the saga. I have spent money at Comic Cons to take pictures with actors from Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, and others. I fully embrace this nerd culture.
- History: I have a deep interest in history, especially socialist experiences and the history of Brazil and Russia. For me, there is no tourism without knowing the history of the place. Whenever I travel, I read extensively about the country's history.
- Politics: I love discussing politics and consider myself a left-wing person. I support the LGBTQIAPN+ community, especially because I am a gay man. Living in Russia as a gay man certainly adds an interesting layer to my story.
- Cinema: I love movies, especially the classics. I am a fan of actress Bette Davis and greatly appreciate Soviet cinema and German Expressionism.
- Social Life: Despite being a self-proclaimed nerd, I love to party. I enjoy social drinking with friends, going to clubs, and dancing. After all, I am Brazilian, and joy is in our blood.

I have traveled to 30 countries, and traveling is what I love most in life. I feel truly free, fulfilled, and carefree when I am traveling, as if everything makes sense in those moments. I immerse myself in the culture and history of every place I visit, believing that understanding the local context enriches the travel experience immensely.

Despite being a self-proclaimed nerd, I love to party. I enjoy social drinking with friends, going to clubs, and dancing. After all, I am Brazilian, and joy is in our blood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is graduating with a master's degree in Russia, in Russian. Do you know how difficult Russian is? I had to learn the language in one and a half years.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach you or share things about Brazilian history and the left movement in my country. Growing up in Brazil, I've developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the rich history and vibrant political landscape, especially the various left-wing movements that have shaped our society. I love discussing these topics and can provide a lot of insights.

I also know how to cook some traditional Brazilian dishes. Cooking together can be a fun and delicious way to connect and learn about each other's cultures.

We can also spend time drinking and enjoying each other's company. I enjoy social drinking and would love to introduce you to some Brazilian drinks like caipirinha. Music is another passion of mine, and Brazilian music has a special place in my heart. From samba and bossa nova to modern pop, I can share my favorite songs and artists with you, helping you to immerse yourself in the rhythms of Brazil.

Additionally, I can share my experience of Russian culture, literature, and history. Having lived in Russia and completed my master’s degree here, I have gained a lot of knowledge about the local culture and history. Whether it's discussing famous Russian authors, exploring the intricacies of Russian history, or sharing what it's like to live in this vast and diverse country, I have plenty of stories and insights to offer.
