Overview
About Me
I consider myself a very positive person, what here in Brazil, we would classify as "good vibes" = D.
I am a quiet, patient person who has fun with very little, to the point of not knowing very well why I was laughing to begin with. I love eating and drinking well, I take it very seriously, to the point that it is a personal pleasure that I try to cultivate.
And I think we're in this world to learn how to be better people, with ourselves and with others around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm in couchsurfing for two reasons: the main one is that I think the best way to get to know a culture different from mine is by relating to it as much as possible and traveling in this way can give me that.
The secondary is the money! hahah
That is, this is a way of traveling spending less, which interests me a lot!

Music, Movies, and Books
Without music, I'm definitely an unhappy person.
I learned to play guitar and bass alone (the internet and friends helped, of course!) And I love Rock and Samba (a Brazilian musical genre), but I do not refuse to listen to new things. I confess I was kind of conservative with music, but I found that by expanding my horizons, I finally discovered some really cool things! I recently discovered a band called The War on Drugs. A quick list: AC / DC, Led Zeppelin, Blues from the 60s and 70s, Jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Jaco Pastorius, among others), Zeca Pagodinho, Cartola, Bezerra da Silva, ...
On books, I read a lot not only because of my work, but I love literature (although I do not have as much time to read as I would like because of work): Bukowski, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Orwell, Hemingway, Lovecraft, Herman Hesse, Ginsberg, Kerouack, Phillip Dick, Burroughs, Fitzgerald, Dumas, Camus, Stephen King, Rowling, Cortázar, Douglas Adams, John Fante, García Márquez, Bolaño, Borges, Tolkien ....
I love watching movies (I have a habit of watching the same movie several times), and I'm adept at watching different shows. Recently I finished the first season of MindHunter and I recommend it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting into a public college (it's very difficult to do this here in Brazil).
Teach and have recognition for this (I love being a teacher, although it is not a respected profession in my country!).
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can teach History.
I would love to improve my Spanish, which at the moment is more for portunhol.
I can teach cooking too, something I love doing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can exchange experiences about life and talk (having coffee or a beer) - one of the things I like to do most is to share with others.
I can also help with cleaning, groceries and housework. I just do not like being a bother to others and I end up being helpful.
